Jambon-Beurre – French sandwich of ham and butter on a baguette

With an unyielding dedication to sandwich craftsmanship and a commitment to excellence (in sandwiches), we seek out sandwiches that delight, satisfy, and elevate ingredients between two slices of bread.

It all started as a casual grumble among a few sandwich enthusiasts, the kind of idle chatter that happens when you’re staring down at something utterly forgettable between two slices of bread. Why, we wondered, would a national chain bother setting up shop in New Orleans—a city where the very concept of the sandwich has been elevated to an art form? Were they unaware of the po’ boy, the muffuletta, the countless neighborhood spots that have spent decades perfecting the craft? It felt almost insulting. So, rather than just complain (or, more accurately, in addition to complaining), we decided to do something about it. Thus, the .club was born.

Now, we’re here to celebrate sandwiches the way they deserve to be celebrated—with enthusiasm, with respect, and possibly with a well-organized punch card system. We want people to hear from the .club and know something good is coming, whether it’s a deep dive into a hidden gem or a firm but fair ruling on where to find the best roast beef debris. We’re already scheming ways to connect with the best sandwich spots in the city, because frankly, there’s too much excellence out there to let it go unrecognized. It’s a tough job, but someone has to eat these sandwiches.
